CCDS's Daylily Beds at Smith-Gilbert Gardens (Kennesaw)

On March 20, 2017, CCDS donated 23 daylily clumps and planted them in two nearby beds in the Smith-Gilbert Pollinator Garden.  Club members donated, planted and maintained the cultivars.  The daylilies along with a multitude of  other plants in this garden provide pollinators with a safe environment of nutrition and shelter under the protection of organically grown vegetation.  Hopefully, these two little daylily beds will grow in positive ways as the years go by!
September 2017:  CCDS was asked to expand our little garden!  
October 2017:  CCDS tripled our daylily space into two areas thanks to donations and help in prepping, planting and mulching the beds. 
A CCDS volunteer group at SGG is formed!
October 2018:  Beds were tended and a new daylily bed bordered a fresh, new pollinator area planted for 2019 Spring.
